He may come across all gangster and scary in his music videos – but all 50 Cent wants is to bag a duet with Robbie Williams. I was thrilled to be invited to spend time with Fiddy this week at his Mayfair hotel suite this week.
In town to promote his new album, Before I Self Destruct, he told me: “I’ve pretty much worked with everybody I want to work with in the music industry apart from Robbie Williams. I really want to do something with him.
“During the Curtis album we talked about working together and we set up some time to go into the studio to make something happen and then he went to rehab right before we got into our session. So it never actually happened. But I still want to do it.
“He has a unique voice and a different kind of energy to anyone I’ve ever listened to. It will make for a different kind of hit record. So make sure you tell him to pick up the phone.”
Done, Fiddy. He also tells me he wants to take his acting career a step further by becoming the first black James Bond. “We’ve got a black president,” he chortled. “Now we need the first black James Bond. I’m down with that. I’ve got the watch for the role.”
Fiddy also revealed he’s been following this year’s X Factor closely – hell, he even stood up for John and Edward, telling me they had a great chance at becoming huge stars.
“Brit girls are superstars like Leona and Alexandra but I don’t know whether I’d collaborate with them,” he said.
“They’re already superstars – even the losers like those twins. Millions have watched them. That’s why the show is so big – because of them.”
Fiddy – real name Curtis Jackson – also revealed his widely publicised row with Kanye West in 2007 was a set-up for the pair to promote their last albums. They went head-to-head releasing albums, with 50 stating he would retire if he lost out to Kanye – and Fiddy lost!
“We made it the competition last time because people were more interested with us having some sort of fight. At the end of the day Kanye isn’t a confrontational person. I had to speak out to make it a bigger deal.
“What happened with Taylor Swift at MTV won’t matter. Because he’s not confrontational he’ll always be in the running for winning trophies. They encourage Kanye to be like he is. He’s fine.”
I still think he’s a twerp, Fiddy!

My favourite Aussie comedienne Pam Ann is searching for love. The star – who wrapped up her sell out UK tour at the Palladium this weekend – tells me: “I’ve experimented with women, been there and done that. And a gay guy went down on me recently but I’m single. I think the trouble is people think I’m a drag Queen. I’m honestly not.”
The star told me about her huge affection and gratitude she has towards Dannii and Kylie Minogue for their help in spreading Pam Ann love around the globe. “Those girls are treasures,” she revealed: “Such amazing women and Dannii in particular is incredible. There are not many women like her in the showbiz industry. And look how well she’s doing on the X factor this year – I mean, Cheryl who?” Indeed.

*Take note of this name – The Blue Eyed Shark Experiment. This new act will have new music out next year. Quirky, cool and with celebrity fans including Thom Yorke and Albert Hammond Jnr thinks they are amazing too. The identity of the man behind the band act is a secret (ala Banksy). His new EP Aun Aprendo (I’m Still Learning) is out Monday.
*British milliner Katherine Elizabeth seems to be going down a storm with her fifties style hand made hats. Over the past few weeks Dita Von Teese, Lily Allen and Alexa Chung have all snapped up one-off pieces. Check the range out at www.katherineelizabethhats.com.
*I popped along to the PRS for Music shindig at the House of Commons this week where such music luminaries as Feargal Sharkey and Mobo’s head Kanya King were in attendance. I was thrilled to watch a new band there that I just loved – they’re called Honey Ryder (pictured below). Think Texas, Sheryl Crow and Beautiful South mixed together. Their debut album ‘Rising Up’ is out now on iTunes and HMV. Or check www.honeyryder.com.

*Ryan Reynolds sounds like he’s still getting over working with Sandra Bullock in The Proposal. The pair shot a hilarious naked scene for the film, out this week on DVD, but it sounds far from hot and steamy! Ryan reveals: “You know, somebody you’ve known for a long time and then suddenly you, you know, her naked body is on top of yours – it’s very strange. The thing about a film set, though, is that. Well, let’s just say a kissing scene in a film is about as intimate as being under mortar fire. I mean, there are usually 15 or 20 crew members standing around wondering what’s for lunch while they scratch their ass. It’s not a romantic setting. Our job is to make it look like that.” And indeed you do!
*Two bashes that rocked my world this week were Lizzie Cundy’s ITV at the Movies bash where the Cheeky Girls were spotted tormenting rapper Chipmunk throughout the night trying to sidle up to him! And the exclusive Spandau Ballet Live at the O2 DVD launch on Monday saw the men perform for a select crowd!

Sarah Harding is pulling a Billie Piper to make that full conversion into TV and film star. First thing she’s doing is eradicating that Camden Caner reputation of yester year. I spotted the blonde star at Nick Ede’s charity event to raise awareness about The Stroke Association and she wouldn’t take a picture with fans until she’d gotten rid of her alcoholic beverage from the frame. She then said: “This is the new me. I’m behaving from now on.” Good for her.
Meanwhile Sarah stars in MTV’s new show ‘Sarah Harding In 24 Hours’ where a telly crew follow her around in a reality stylee. The show goes out on December 13 at 7pm and she reveals she’s not exactly been happy in Girls Aloud – thus why the band have taken a year out from working together. “Now its time to do our own thing for a while,” she reveals. “We did need a change of a direction. We’d been doing the same thing for 7 years and it gets a bit tedious. When it’s not as much fun anymore, you have to go away and remember what you first enjoyed about that and learn to miss it. I’m no spring chicken anymore. In girlband years I’m about 40! Seven years in a band, add on 3 years for each year (like dog years) then add on a bit more, that’s how much I feel I’ve aged.” Fortunately she still looks like a spring chicken – when she’s rested!

It has been the year of David Guetta as far as the music world is concerned. And the man himself was celebrating earlier this week with five Grammy nominations for his work with the Black Eyed Peas and Kelly Rowland during the past few months. But now I hear he’s preparing to go back into the studio with Fergie and Will.i.am to record new material. He’s also just been given the thumbs up from Madonna – he’s remixed her next single Revolver for his ‘One Love’ Remix.

Impersonator Rory Bremner has a new obsession – imitating X Factor star Louis Walsh. Rory told me at Savile Row’s Winter Style Evening this week: “Louis is a great person to do. I love doing him. It’s a lot about breathing. In fact all the X Factor judges are great to do. I do Simon too – and I loved the fact Debra Stephenson has returned to her roots and is doing impressions again. He’s very talented and did well getting Cheryl Cole nailed before other people. I spoke to Ronni Ancona about it and we both think she’s done a great job.” I couldn’t agree more!

Now listen here carefully you lot, the Dame is speaking. Judi Dench told me at the premiere of Nine she has no plans to slow down her career that’s spanned a spectacular 52 years. She said: “I have no plans to put my feet up. I work. That’s what I do. I’m doing Midsummer Night’s Dream for Peter Hall – I did the original for him in 1962 and now I’m doing it at the Rose in Kingston.”
I asked Dame Judi what attributes each of the actresses Nicole Kidman, Sophia Loren, Penelope Cruz and Kate Hudson brought to the film. “Each of them is going to surprise you in this film,” she said. “That’s Rob Marshall, the director – that’s what he gets out of people.”
Finally we nattered about the next Bond film. She squealed: “I look forward to the next one – Daniel Craig again. I’m not ready for a new Bond yet.” Nor am I, Judi!

Dad of the decade Michael Lohan continues to talk about his troubled daughter in an effort to stay in the press. This time he revealed all to Sydney’s best radio station 2Day FM. He even claimed on the Kyle and Jackie O show that he’s not even on Twitter, just days after statements on his supposed Twitter account said he was going to kill himself…..
Michael revealed: “Well right now, I’m hanging from a bungee cord from the Brooklyn Bridge, don’t mind me. Come on, I was shopping with my fiancé yesterday and my Thanksgiving was a wonderful Thanksgiving. My lawyers have been on Twitter now for about three months because this person who says it’s ‘The Michael Lohan’ and ‘The Real Michael Lohan’, that’s not me, I have no Twitter account. The funny thing is this person has personal pictures of me, with my dog, with my fiancée, with my kids and personal information about me so it’s very troubling. My attorneys have been in touch with Twitter and they are yet to do anything to stop this so now we’re going to take legal action.
“I don’t have a Twitter account, I never did. I think it’s important for you to make a statement out there and really try to do something about this because I don’t care if it’s Twitter, Facebook, My Space, people can go on these social networks and create a profile and say they’re you but there have to be safeguards, that’s identity theft and a criminal impersonation.”
He also decided to tell all about his daughter Lindsay Lohan being in therapy. He revealed: “I’m very happy that Lindsay’s getting therapy now but I’m still concerned about the prescription drugs. Three times a week, started about a week ago and she’s doing much, much better however I still think prescription drug use is a horrible thing and it’s very dangerous.”
You don’t say, Michael.
