Jerry Hall prepares to dish the dirt on The Rolling Stones

April 14th, 2009

Those naughty Rolling Stones had better watch out. It sounds as if lead singer Sir Mick Jagger’s ex-missus Jerry Hall is out to get them with her new autobiography!

Jerry tells me she has no plans to hold back in her upcoming autobiography, Self-Portrait. She said at the Galaxy British Book awards: “I tried to be kind, I really did. But being kind just isn’t very funny. So I went with funny instead. It as truthful and honest as possible so I’m sure it will upset some people.”

I wonder if she’s talking about cheating scumbag Ronnie Wood – Jerry is Jo Wood’s bosom buddy after all!

Geri Halliwell’s got a creepy stalker – and a new lover…..

April 14th, 2009

Geri Halliwell moves faster than a whippet when it comes to finding new lovers! The singer turned successful children’s author has been spotted touching tongues with hunky Henry Beckwith over the weekend on a ski break in the French Alps resort of Courchevel. Click here to see the pics of their break!

Henry and Gezza met when the Spice Girl took her two-year-old daughter Bluebell on a sunshine break to Mustique a few weeks ago and they were staying in the same resort.

I actually caught up with the star at a dinner two weeks ago and she made a point of telling everyone that she was officially “off men”. But she must have been telling us all porkies judging from these pictures! And it was only four weeks ago that Geri broke off her engagement to yacht tycoon Fabrizio Politi. I can hardly keep up….

In other news Geri’s become increasingly concerned about a creepy lone stalker that’s been hanging out around her pad in north London. A source tells me: “She’s so scared and freaked out by the hold thing. She hopes this guy will just leave her alone. But he’s terrifying her right now and keeps appearing out of nowhere and watching her – she’s scared for her daughter.” Geri’s had security at her home improved big time and is hoping he will get lost. Fingers crossed!

Dancing on Ice: The Tour gets a little help from me in Sheffield

April 7th, 2009

doi-1

Dancing on Ice judges Karen Barber, Robin Cousins, Nicky Slater and Ruthie Henshall got a little help judging the celebrities on the Dancing on Ice live tour last week – from me!
I went up to Sheffield last week to guest judge on the ice panel where I had to judge celebs including including Ray Quinn, Suzanne Shaw, Zoe Salmon and Chris Fountain infront of the 8,000 strong crowd! I caught up with Jayne Torvill afterwards for a glass of vino and she told me she’s looking forward to a break after the grueling 39 date tour. Jayne said: “This tour’s been months in the making – and Chris and myself have been working flat out since September with the show so we are ready for a break after this. The live tour’s been amazing though so far. Tickets have sold well and it’s bigger and better than ever before.”

Jayne, 51, who looks great in real life, added she’s been having to keep her energy up despite her stringent diet. After all Jayne did lose two stone and four dress sizes to shape up for the last couple of TV shows! She added: “I don’t mix carbs and protein at all – but the tour is hard and if I’m needing more energy then I am upping my protein a little. But I’m finding keeping my figure fairly easy right now – I’m trainging and skating so much so it’s easy. Whether it happens when I go back to being a mother to two young children is another thing!” Good luck Jayne!

Davina McCall and Claudia Winkleman make my night at the Digital Spy Awards

April 7th, 2009

Now then, those of you that read my blogs will know I have one big pet hate – reality television stars. My view on reality people is that they should do there shows and toddle back to their little worlds after the obligatory two months of being a ‘star’.

So it was with a reluctant voice that I accepted an invitation to go to the inaugural Digital Spy Reality TV Awards last night at the Bloomsbury Ballroom. It was full of a truckload of reality stars and the desperation in the air was almost infectious. Naturally every star did press for the event. Well, almost everyone!

The only real hugely in demand star managed to escape the press line-up! Big Brother Brother presenter Davina McCall (above) won her first Best Host gong since starting her career 16 years ago! And she also won an award for being the first Digital Spy Reality TV Legend. Both of Davina’s speeches were simply hilarious. The first one she screeched: “Thank you so much. The public have been so supportive through all my turkeys and addictions. I can’t thank them enough.” And in the second one she described herself as a twat and talked very emotionally about her hubby Matthew Robertson! “I’ve made a living out of being a total twat – and it’s been totally joyous,” she said.

The night was also made thoroughly enjoyable because they chose Claudia Winkleman to host the ceremony. She was looking slick as can be in Miu Miu dress and heels. And her night was going exceedingly well until I’m A Celebrity twerp David Van Day entered the picture. David presented an award with Christopher Biggins and as they went up to onto the stage David proceeded to hump Claudia, fairly violently. It was gross and completely inappropriate! She told me after: “That was disgusting. In fact beyond gross. I think I might be pregnant.”

Claudia’s quick wit caused me to laugh out loud again when Strictly’s Vincent Simone went up to present Rachel Stevens with her Sexiest Female award. Rachel didn’t bother turning out – but left a message to be read out. Vincent turned to Claudia on stage and said: “Would you mind reading this from Rachel – you see my English not so good.” Claudia replied: “No shit.” Classic! Before the awards Claudia also told me she’s hoping to be able to host something with Davina herself in the future. She said: “Fingers crossed we’ll be doing something soon for Comic Relief. But all will be revealed.”

A coulourful and pregnant Coleen Rooney steps out for Aintree

April 6th, 2009

013

So tomorrow Coleen Rooney’s thought to be announcing her pregnancy to the world via a magazine column she ‘writes’. Good for her, I say. The star’s clearly loving her pregnancy curves and looked pretty uber stylish as she stepped out to Aintree last week. The star, in her two colourful dresses was the main judge in the Citreon Style Competition 2009. Coleen and her team of judges (including designer Jeff Banks, TV Quen Nicky Hambleton-Jones and WAG Sheree Murphy – pictured below) chose 19-year-old Blackpool resident Samantha Marsh as their winner! All I can say is stylish Sam looks a damn sight better than some of the trollops at the horse racing event!

Office star Mackenzie Crook wants to be Bond!

April 6th, 2009

Mackenzie Crook doesn’t see why he can’t be the next Bond – despite always playing the geek! “Why do people always ask if I want to be a bond villain?,” he droned on at the Empire Awards last week. “Why can’t I be Bond? No, I would rather be a villain. Absolutely, if I got a phone call I would definitely do Bond!
“I haven’t watched Bond my whole life for nothing. I’ve just been working with Daniel Craig so I watched the last two. I’m a bit baffled by it all but it’s incredible stuff.”
He also revealed that even though Johnny Depp has reportedly signed up for the next Pirates of the Caribbean movie he has yet to be asked. He added: “I don’t know how far along it is. I’m up for it if I’m asked. I couldn’t imagine them going off and doing another one without being involved in it so if it came about I would do it.” Good luck Macca!

The jury’s still out as Edith Bowman talks Lady Gaga!

April 6th, 2009

Radio 1 DJ Edith Bowman is a girl after my own heart. She just can’t lie or be that twit-ish celebrity that jumps on a bandwagon! Unlike the rest of the world she’s not fallen for Lady Gaga and declared her a poor wannabe Madonna! She told me at the Jameson Empire Film Awards: “I’m not a fan of Lady Gaga. Too much style over content for me. I don’t find her believable. She’s trying to fit into the shoes that Madonna has left at the bottom of the stairs. But I think she’s trying too hard to be honest.” I agree. Gaga’s good – but not THAT good! Yet…..
