It’s fair to say Lily Allen has been laying low of late! Well not no more. The singer made an impromptu appearance behind the DJ decks with Radio One’s Nick Grimshaw at the new £5 million hyper-club Gatecrasher Birmingham this weekend.

Lily Allen even managed to sneak a couple of tracks from her new album into the mix for the 25,000 strong crowd. One track was called “It’s Not You, It’s Me”. Good to see Lily doing something other than shopping for killer heels. And look, she looks soooooo sober. Not!

Sienna Miller has been laying exceedingly low of late thanks to her bedroom Olympics with married man Balthazar Getty. The American media and public have been up in arms since news of the fling went public. Well just so you all know, I hear the pair actually got together six whole months after he’d split from wife Rosetta. In which case…..home wrecker she ain’t peeps!

Fair enough the silly billy shouldn’t have got together with him so publicly – especially not flouncing around with him on the beach with her titties out. But I think Sienna deserves a break now.

Anyway, Sienna has reason to smile. I hear she’s landed herself a rather lucrative little deal with Hugo Boss to be the face of their new fragrance for women. Apparently she’s already shot the advert for the campaign in Los Angeles. Get her.

I love a good rollercoaster! And so it seems does the whole of London’s uber trendy fashionista IT crowd.

Actress and party gal Jaime Winstone and boy toy Alfie Allen were inseparable throughout the evening and were seen leaping on all the rides – including all three of the Unholy Trinity of rollercoasters, Stealth, Colossus and Nemesis Inferno.

But it wasn’t just Alfie that Jaime was snogging……she even had a cheeky snog with the delectable Miss Daisy Lowe. Loves it.

Former EastEnder Charlie Brooks, actor Danny Dyer, Sam Branson, As If actress Jemima Rooper and models Alice Dellal and Portia Freeman also showed out for the event at Thorpe Park. The theme park is hosting it’s brilliant Fright Night evenings to punters all the way up until November 2nd before it closes for the winter.

Spice Girl Mel B was on fine form when we hooked up in Malibu last week for a chat about her up and coming projects in America. In between feeding her baby Angel (with home made mashed potato, broccoli and steamed salmon) the star told me she can’t wait for fellow Spice Girl Mel C to have her baby. Mel, who is flying high after her appearance in Ultimo lingerie at New York fashion week, said: “Mel text me and asked me to call her and I got back to her and before she said anything I went: “You’re pregnant!” and she asked how I knew. It was always going to be that way when the tour finished. It was a case of when not if. I’m over the moon for her and she’ll be an amazing mum. I’m not having any for at least a couple of years though now. I’m too busy.”
And despite presenting US TV shows, hosting awards ceremonies, recording an album and doing photo shoots, Mel told me she still makes sure that she drops off daughter Phoenix to school and picks her up every day. “I juggle everything I do,” she laughed. “If you are organized in life you can achieve anything and it’s important because my kids come first to anything work related obviously.”
Mel also revealed she’s more than just a pretty face – she’s keen to open a chain of gym and fitness centres throughout the UK. “I really believe in getting people to work out so I want to look into that soon,” she said. “I mean it – there will be Scary gyms throughout the UK one day. Mark my words.” I believe her.

Singer Anastacia couldn’t stop beaming about living in London at the Tropic Thunder film premiere last week. The gorgeous blonde, who’s married to Brit Wayne Newton, told me she has a brilliant way to remember she’s now living in London suburb Richmond. Ana said: “Richmond is great, it’s got a bit of attitude, I love the pubs. Just when I forget I’ve moved to the UK I’ll go to a pub and see someone fall on the floor in front of me and remember, yes, it’s London!” I also asked her which of the film’s stars
Ben Stiller, Jack Black and Robert Downey Jnr she would choose “I’ll take the whole buffet. I can’t make decisions like that! I married my husband, that’s enough of a decision for one lifetime.”

Pamela Anderson flew into the UK last week to talk about life, kids, sex and her fantastic new reality TV show Pam: Girl on the Loose on the E! Entertainment Television Channel.

I got up close and personal with the former Baywatch babe at London’s Dorchester Hotel to talk about the new show. I asked the platinum blonde how the idea for the show came about. She told me: “It started out that I was going to do a Las Vegas show and the E! show was going to be an eight part documentary series making my own Vegas show. “I thought I could fly out there four times a week – I mean, I would have been dead by now if I’d done that. I decided against it in the end. We’re not allowed to see each other too much – me and Vegas that is. The Vegas nights get kinda crazy.”

Eventually, after her show fell through in Vegas, the E! Channel went to her anyway saying they wanted her on board – but Pammie was skeptical to say the least! “E! said to me they wanted to do a reality show and I was like: “Oh no, the last thing I want to do is some reality show it seems so desperate and it’s something people in the business only do when they are struggling for dollars and they’re really desperate”,” she laughed. “I also thought the E! network was so cheesy and everyone said: “Don’t you dare do it.” So of course I did it to piss everybody off. I did it but I didn’t want cameras in my house and they were not going to have my children around and they couldn’t do things like wake me up in the morning. I’m not shy and they knew they’d get a lot of footage – but not at the expense of my children.”

And talking of children – she says her two young boys are the best sober upper she’s ever had. She says: “Children are my hangover cure – I have to get up no matter what and take them to school – it’s the biggest sober upper in the world. It cures me from drinking a lot on a night out.”

We also got to talk Baywatch….obviously. I asked if she still had her red swimsuit. Flashing a cheeky smile she said: “I still have my costume, are you kidding? I still wear it form time to time!”
I also asked her if she thinks David Hasselhoff is ‘hot’ and she pulled a weird face and giggles: “I just pressed my Help button – eeeek. Next question.”

Take that as a no then!

She also told me her two time hubby Tommy Lee has been calling regularly from child sitting the pair’s sons Brandon and Dylan in Pam’s Malibu house. She wouldn’t confirm or deny whether they were still an item – but described him as probably the love of her life. Bless.

New Kids on the Block were easily the biggest boy band when I was a youngster. They were just as big as somebody like Michael Jackson when I was in Forge Lane Junior School. Now, they are back from the dead and pulling what I like to call a ‘Take That’ – releasing a brand new album years after they split. And from the sounds of it….it’s not bad at all!

Jordan, Joey, Jonathan, Donnie and Danny took to the stage earlier today at HMV, Oxford Street to perform 4 songs and sign copies of their new album The Block. It was the UK fans first chance in over fifteen years to see the band together again, performing live. And the store actually had to shut down the signing early because of the amount of people that showed up. They say it was just as big as a Take That or Madonna appearance. Get them.

The appearance marks the release of their brand new album which features collaborations with some of the biggest names in pop music today. R&B superstar Neyo features on Single, the follow up to the first hit single Summertime. Other collaborations include Grown Man with the Pussycat Dolls and uber producer Teddy Riley, Put It On My Tab with Akon, Big Girl Now with NY electro-pop diva Lady Gaga and Full Service with their musical heroes New Edition.

Hilariously Donnie decided to invite me to take to the stage with the band when they performed. I sadly declined, feeling that maybe I wasn’t quite prepared enough. But thanks anyway Donnie! Amazingly fans of the band – probably over 500 of them – had queued up and camped out overnight to catch a glimpse of the five some. How 90s is that? Camping overnight for a record signing!

Jordan told me he even recognises some of the hardcore fans from the old days. He said: ‘We still recognise some of them right now. They’ve got a little older – but there are new fans coming through too.”

Winona Ryder, Christina Ricci and Nicole Richie went all Charlie’s Angels on our butts at the special 20th Anniversary of DKNY in the Mercedes Benz tent at New York Fashion Week. Don’t they look hot!

And Winona is looking especially hot…..considering she’s over 10 years older than the other girls. One thing’s or sure – Winnie doesn’t look like she sunbathes!
